What Does a Notary Do?
A notary public serves as an impartial witness to the signing of legal documents. My job is to verify the identity of the signer, confirm they are signing willingly and with full understanding, and ensure all documents meet Florida legal requirements.

• Acknowledgments – Verifying identity and willingness to sign documents such as deeds, powers of attorney, or contracts.

• Oaths & Affirmations – Administering legally binding promises for affidavits, depositions, or sworn statements.

• Jurats – Witnessing a signature and administering an oath or affirmation, commonly used in court-related documents.

• Certified Copies – Certifying copies of non-public documents (such as diplomas, leases, or business records).

• Marriage Ceremonies – As a Florida Notary, I am legally authorized to officiate weddings anywhere in the state.
